The DCAM can be applied to various assembly tasks with minimum retooling. It is also easily adapted to all part handling possibilities, such as manually loaded part nests to palletized conveyor systems. Its compact size makes the system highly transportable.
The working range of the DCAM is 600 × 600 × 150mm (24 × 24 × 6 in.).
The DCAM can be used for many different manufacturing tasks, such as:
- screw driving
- pressing
- testing
- fluid dispensing, etc.
for precision products, like
- cell phones
- small electric motors
- switch gears
- pneumatic elements, etc.
The basic system offers a choice of 1-, 2- or 3-freely programmable axes, depending on requirements. 3-phase stepper motors or servo motors are used for the axis-movement. The DCAM can be operated using the keypad on the controller. Machine status is indicated on a graphic display. The processing programs are supervised by a user-friendly software editor.
