Belt-Driven Hopper

for the automatic refilling
of feeding-systems

DEPRAG belt-driven hoppers are the ideal supplement to all our feeding-systems. Especially in connection with vibrator feeders, the use of a belt-driven hopper enables perfect adjustment of the vibratory-drive with virtually constant fill-level. A vibratory-drive, like any other vibratory system, is strongly dependent on the vibratory mass. In many cases, the material to be transported is an essential component of the vibratory mass that varies considerably between a full and empty bowl. If longer refill-intervals are required, the frequent use of very large and over dimensional vibratory bowls was necessary. The combination of our belt-driven hopper with a small vibratory feeder, offers a technically sound and low-cost alternative.
The belt-driven hopper has an enclosed outflow-chute, which provides for a considerable sound-reduction. Furthermore, the standard cover prevents the contamination of the material to be transported, as well as the inadvertent dropping of foreign parts into the hopper container.
As optional equipment. we offer an incline-adjustment for the outflow-chute, a height-adjustable housing stand, a foot-bracket, as well as a positioning-recognition for the outflow-chute.

For our entire vibratory feeder line, we can supply as an optional item a soundproof cover, which is specifically designed for the common enclosure of the feeder and belt-driven hopper. This way, the completely enclosed vibratory feeder with belt-driven hopper keeps the noise-level to a minimum.
