Handguided Press-in Devices
For handling of

This press-in device is manufactured to be used for manual positioning or fastening operations. The ergonomically shaped handle and the possible combination with our hand-held feeders of the 15xx-series are two prominent of its various features.
Two different versions are available:
- type EDG with one press-in stroke
- type EDGZ with one press-in stroke plus an additional locking stroke.
The EDGZ version enables the feeding part to firmly stick out of the retainer tooling (nosepiece), thus allowing the operator easy reliable working.
Examples of realized applications:
- pressing in grooved pins in order to fasten children’s seat covers
- attaching rubber feet on bottom telephone housings
- setting of contact pins in mobile phone housings
- setting of steel rivets for onward handling/riveting
- pre-assembly of safety rivets on miniature railroad cars
- pressing in expanding rivets for fixing e-cards onto housing frames.
