- Seating torque less than driving torque
- Thread forming instead of thread damaging
If the driving torque is close to the seating torque, or even higher, an automatic driver will shut-off even if the screw is not seated all the way. If the seating torque is increased, the screw will be stripped.
The 
- SENSOMAT-ULTRA, a further development of the MINIMAT driver series, assembles the screw with full motor power. Shortly before the screw is seated, the driver releases the MINIMAT clutch and the driver shuts-off at the pre-set torque. The screw is therefore fully assembled, without being stripped or otherwise damaged.
Typical assembly cases include thread forming-, thread cutting-, or self-tapping screws.
