The necessary feed-system is essential for productivity and availability for automatic assembly machines. Originally developed for shaft-heavy screws, today's DEPRAG feeding systems are capable to process screws of all the type with and without washers, threaded bolts, pins, rivets, nuts, washers, O-rings and other small components of diverse formats.
For stationary applications using screws or screw-similar fasteners, we offer our Screwfeed system with integrated cycle control (our EP-execution). This design is always used if you wish to use an extensively tested and proven system and where you do not want to use your own PLC or where your PLC has insufficient capacity.
With a freely programmable feed-system, which is available according to your pneumatic and electric requirements, a multitude of part geometries can be processed.
The integration of your host PLC into any of the DEPRAG stationary Screwfeeders is exceptionally simple and easy. DEPRAG feed systems excel through large output capability they increase your assembly cycle while guaranteeing a continued high quality.
Our standard stationary feeders are offered as vibratory- and segment designs. Those systems can be expanded by the use of a linear-conveyor, bulk-storage devices, tape-on-reel feeder or a screw-presenter.
The sophisticated construction of all feeders, the use high-alloyed and heat-treated steels for all critical components and the the required quality of the components to be transported, are the foundation for the high quality of our equipment. Many constructive details, such as the quick-release feature of the separator or the tiltable- and removable housing, simplify the handling during start-up or maintenance.
The stationary feed systems for the processing of small components of all kinds, such as screws, pins, bolts, rivets, nuts, washers and O-rings. A vibratory feeder excels through a high output rate, when compared with other feed-systems.
We offer stationary screwfeeders with vibratory-drive for screw smaller than M1 to M20. The processing of screws with a shaft-length from 5-mm up to 130-mm is possible. Also, the feeding of countersunk screw are easily processed by our vibratory feeders.
Sword Feeders or Segment Feeders are used when the requirement calls for the gentle and nearly noisless feeding of sensitive fasteners. With our Sword-Feeder equipment, we can process screw sizes from M2 to M6. They are ideal for screws up to 25 mm in length. Sword (Segment) Feeder are also well-suited for the processing of balls and pins.
Linear Conveyors are often used to reduce distance of movement, to allow for parts buffer and to expand of the parts stream.
Our robust linear-conveyors assure the correct transport to the feedbowl without push-back-pressure. So, parts will never be backed-up while on the way to the feedbowl.
If the screw dimensions do not allow feeding through a feedhose, for example where there is an unfavorable relation between screw head diameter and overall length, we can offer special solutions, such as the Pick-and-Place process with vacuum suction or removal by gripper. This process can also be used if there are screw-locations that are difficult to access.
The DEPRAG Tape-on-Reel Feeder is specifically designed for the process-reliable and position-accurate delivery of adhesive components, which are supplied on reel tapes. Electric components can be removed from a reel by the peel-off carriage and positioned accurately.
This easy to access system can be integrated directly into your assembly machine.
Screw Presenters are mainly used for pick-and-place applications where an automatic screwfeeding machine is not cost-effective due to low volume. A screw presenter can process screws with thread-sizes from M1,4 to M5 and a shaft-length of up to 18-mm. To communicate with a host PLC, an output signal-port is made available.
We offer an assortment of Storage Devices that are the ideal addition to our feeding systems. Belt-driven hoppers dramatically increase the required refill intervals. Our hoppers are flexible devices that can be used for different parts - a costly refitting is not necessary.
