Yes, DEPRAG feeding systems are fully compatible with DEPRAG screwdriving technology. Connection to screwdrivers from other manufacturers is also possible after consultation. Our sophisticated system solutions combine screwdriving tools and feeding technology from a single source, whereby all components are comprehensively tested and optimally matched to each other.

 

The maximum cycle rate in feeding technology depends on the specific properties of the feeding part. Depending on the component and application, our systems can reliably feed up to 120 parts per minute.

 

The control and monitoring of the feed in our DEPRAG feed systems is carried out via the PFC controller. In addition, sensors can be integrated on the feed hose or at other critical points to further increase process reliability.

 

In feeding technology, the conveying speed of the screws in the feeding hose is around 10 m/s. The exact speed can vary depending on the screw geometry, conveyor section and system configuration in order to ensure optimum process stability.

 

A feeding system can serve several screwdrivers or setting units. This is done via multiple separations or multiple distributors, which make it possible to supply several systems with screws at the same time. However, it must be ensured that the required cycle time can be maintained. If the required cycle rate cannot be achieved with a single feed system, several feed systems must be used.
