Reception at DEPRAG for Ingrid Schulz-Hallmann's 60th birthday

A celebratory reception was held yesterday at the premises of the internationally successful company in Amberg to mark the 60th birthday of Mrs. Ingrid Schulz-Hallmann, the majority shareholder of DEPRAG Schulz GmbH & Co. Personalities from the worlds of science, politics and business came together to honor this special occasion.

To celebrate her birthday, Mrs. Schulz-Hallmann donated 60,000 Euros to both the DEPRAG Otto-Carl-Schulz Foundation and the OTH Amberg. These funds will be used to support and further strengthen young talent, particularly in technical degree courses. The Schulz family traditionally uses milestone birthdays as an opportunity to make donations to good causes.

Among the invited guests were the Lord Mayor of Amberg, Michael Cerny, and Prof. Dr. med. Clemens Bulitta, President of the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH) Amberg. The many years of excellent cooperation between DEPRAG and the OTH was underlined by the presence of Prof. Andreas Weiß, the company's sponsor at the university, as well as other professors and participants.

The long-standing and successful cooperation between DEPRAG and OTH Amberg was particularly emphasized at this reception. Joint research projects have brought knowledge and innovation to both parties, which is proof of the fruitful strategic partnership between the university and the company.

The Lord Mayor acknowledged this large donation to the DEPRAG Otto-Carl-Schulz Foundation and the OTH. The foundation is administered in trust by the City of Amberg. "With this very generous donation, DEPRAG is once again underlining the strategic relevance of the company location in Amberg. This will not only secure the future of academic education for numerous students, but will also provide the region with highly trained future employees in the medium term - to the benefit of students and local companies such as DEPRAG," continued Michael Cerny.

Ingrid Schulz-Hallmann and her husband DEPRAG CEO Dr. Erik Hallmann and their children were in good spirits. Son Alexander is already working for the DEPRAG Group in the Far East. Daughter Caroline is currently completing her Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
